Holiday Movie 2014

Holiday, A Soldier Never Off Duty is an upcoming Bollywood action thriller movie written and directed by A.R.Murugadoss of Ghajini fame. Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha are the lead roles and Govinda in short important role. This film is produced by Vipul Shah and is a remake of a 2012 Tamil Blockbuster Movie Thuppakki starring Vijay and Kajal Agarwal in lead roles. The trailer of the film was released on 12th Feb 2014 and the movie is scheduled to release on 6th June 2014.

Pritam is the music director for the Holiday Movie 2014 and he is collaborates for the first time with A.R.Murugadoss.The film's production commenced in 2013 with the working title of 'Pistol' under the banner of Hair Om Entertainment and Sunshine Pictures. The background score and soundtrack is composed by Pritam Chakra borty and Cinematography is handled by Nataraj Subramanian. Whereas Stunts will be taken care of by Sky fall’s action director Greg Powell. Actor Vijay will also be in with the movie as a guest appearance.

Akshay Kumar is a super star in Bollywood film industry because he is the only actor who has crossed 2000 crore at the box office and he is the only star who give 3 to 4 movies every year. In 2013 Akshay Kumar has done three movies Special 26, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai and recently Boss. Still many Akshay Kumar's movies are about to come soon. Balu Mahendra Passed Away

Award winning film director and cinematographer Balu Mahendra Passed Away in Chennai on Thursday. Mahendra was admitted to Vijaya Hospital on Thursday morning following chest pain and was pronounced dead . Sources said he had suffered his second heart attack.

The legendary director and cinematographer's body will be kept at his film school ‘Cinema Pattarai’ in Dasarathapuram, Saligramam for fans and well-wishers to pay homage.

History:

Balu Mahendra,one of Tamil cinema's best-known directors.He born on 20/05/1939  at Batticaloa in Sri Lanka, Balu Mahendra, came to India to study at the Film Institute at Pune. He studied cinematography as he could not get admission into other sepcialisations offered and completed the course with a gold medal in 1969.

He directed 23 films and his first break in the film industry came when he was assigned as the cinematographer for director Ramu Kariat’s Nellu in Malayalam. He started his  first film in Tamil i.e 'Azhiyatha Kolangal'.His unique style of cinematography makes people so interesting. His films fetched awards not only to himself but also to many of his lead actors. For his best cinematography,  Kamal Haasan won his first national award for acting.

He has worked as a cinematographer for the first film with many outstanding directors. He was with Bharathan when he directed 'Prayanam'.He worked most for Malayalam movies.The camera work for K. Viswanath’s 'Sankarabharanam' which made waves was also done by Balu Mahendra. He shared a special bond with music director Ilayaraja, who scored the music for many of his films. 

He directed 23 films and his profession was Cinematographer,Editor,Film Director,Film Producer,Writer.We are missing a great person and hope his soul will be peaceful.

The film ‘Bahubali’ is being touted as the most expensive film ever made in the history of Indian cinema.it is being scaled at Rs 100 crores so that’s huge indeed.To start with, Rs 16 crores family package goes for Rajamouli and his team. Prabhas is reportedly taking Rs 8 crores as fee and rest of the stars budget is touching Rs 4 Crores. Daily it costs Rs 3 lakhs for shooting. In that case for 150 days shoot, it costs Rs 4.5 crores. For the settings the budget goes maximum Rs 10 Crores. This is including the costumes and art work. For camerawork, 1 Crore would go to Senthil. The lighting department is expected to take Rs 1 crore and all Post Production works is estimated at Rs 5 crores.

 Graphics, visual effects, sound, DTS, DI and other miscelleanous overhead costs touches Rs 3 crores. This total film to convert it into Hindi including the close-up shots and dubbing artists is Rs 5 crores.Bahubali is going to shoot its regular shooting in Telugu and Tamil at a time and later dubbed in Hindi to release all over India.All these estimations are high and at the end of time it may reach 100 crores.All the best for the team who are working for this film.
